first advancement


Ok, so after three whole days, an update devlog. Simple functionality has been added to enhance the game.

1. Once the gates are passed, they are deleted (huge performance impact obviously)

2. Gates can now be spawned at random, which means as long as I have the patience to structure a simple scene, the gate variation is unlimited (for now there are only 4 simple positions. Maybe moving gates in the future?)

3. A system is now in place to deal with missed gates.

And that is it! Next up maybe sound and some custom fonts and buttons?


*ps Thanks to all the guys at the Godot discord who helped me figure the code glitches out. I was lost without them!
